This February, 2017, at The South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce’s annual Salute to Business luncheon, General Stamping & Metalworks was presented with The 2017 Economic Impact Award. CEO and President, John Axelberg, accepted the award on behalf of GSM.
This award recognizes Mr. Axelberg’s vision for a state-of-the art manufacturing facility in South Bend, Indiana, and his continued commitment to and investment in the South Bend community. The new facility solidifies General Stamping & Metalworks as a strong economic and charitable contributor to the South Bend area for years to come.
