The industry typically includes many small to medium-sized regional companies producing stamped, bent or laser cut metal parts, as well as various levels of services. Metal fabricating companies tend to have relatively few customers with whom they enjoy strong relationships. Although among the larger metal fabricating companies in the country, GSM has not been an exception.

We provide prototype-through-production manufacturing solutions, including providing fabrication of legacy and non-legacy service parts.

In addition to our eleventh-place ranking in The Fabricator Magazine’s “Fab 40” list of top US fabricators for 2018, we were recognized in 2017 with an Economic Impact Award from the South Bend Chamber of Commerce and selected as one of forty “Indiana Companies to Watch” by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation in 2011.

Recent publication of the Precision Metalforming Association’s Benchmark of Quarterly Operating Ratios confirms GSM’s position among the top 10% of U.S. metalforming companies responding.
