General Stamping & Metalworks hosts tour for students at Purdue Polytechnic High School

06/21/2024

General Stamping & Metalworks proudly hosted some bright and curious students from Purdue Polytechnic High School for a tour of our facility last week. The students were participating in a summer camp made possible by Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs, a foundation sponsored by the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, whose purpose is to support and spark interest in careers in manufacturing and technology.

We hope that spending some time in our facility may have inspired some of these talented students to pursue careers in manufacturing. GSM is committed to supporting the next generation of young minds eager to learn and explore new possibilities in manufacturing, and we were honored to participate and hope that the tour may have inspired some of these talented students to pursue careers in manufacturing.

In fact, we will soon also be hosting a similar visit with some students of the Riverbend Community Math Center, another local organization whose mission is to promote interest in mathematics and technology-related fields.
