South Bend, Indiana – General Stamping & Metalworks (“GSM”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Blimling as its Director of Sales.
Matthew brings more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, customer development, and manufacturing operations. Most recently, he served as General Manager for Forest River’s US Cargo Division, where he led a major business turnaround that increased annual revenue by 40% and improved profitability by 20%. Prior to that, he spent nearly two decades at Utilimaster Corporation, where he consistently grew key accounts and operational performance.
In his new role, Matthew will lead GSM’s sales strategy, strengthen customer relationships, enhance CRM utilization, and drive initiatives that improve speed, efficiency, and overall customer experience. His combined background in operations and commercial leadership supports GSM’s continued growth and commitment to delivering exceptional value to our customers.
Matthew holds a degree from Western Michigan University and is certified in OSHA 30-hour safety standards.
